There are questions that are so important to be answered especially if you are going against the flow. Yes, as a Virtual Professional, we are building a new “norm” that only us can relate and understand at the moment… 🙂

To guide us with the questions that we need to ask, Sir Jomar have left us with this quote:

These are the 5 Crucial Questions that our guest, Ms. Mich Dela Torre, have guide us to clear off our minds with doubts on entering the Virtual Careers World:

1. What is your DEEP WHY?

What are the reasons, deepest reasons, for taking up the leap?
For whom?

2. Are you ready to Master Your Fears?

Fear of Failure
Fear of Being Not good enough
Fear of Success

3. What is your passion?

You need to know what are the things that you are capable of doing and you love to do

4. How are you going to DO it?

You need to have an action plan
Are you willing to give up your time, money, sleep just to achieve your goals?
Take action – requires energy and take responsibility for your actions
You need a mentor – an expert on the field you want to pursue
For you to become successful, you need to participate (Jomar style – university)

5. Are you EXCITED to start your NEW LIFE?

The only difference between fear and excitement is your attitude about it
Do something today that your future self will thank you for
SUCCESS depends on the second letter

Q1: How do you conquer so many alibis?

A1: It shall start with you, you should be aware that you are just making alibis, otherwise you will just continue making alibis.. You have to be aware to stop

Q2: How do you plan in a best attitude?

A2: In planning you have to keep your dreams, you have to keep your DEEP WHYs. You have to be focused on what you want to achieve.

Q3: How do you divide your time?

A3: You really have to be willing to do what it takes for your family… On dividing time, based on experience, you just have to plan, have a schedule. Every second counts, time yourself to fit with your schedule

Q4: Courses taken from Jomar?

A4: VA2013

Q5: How do you start your day?

A5: Starts at 4am, preparing breakfast, sending kids to school at 6am then start working once I return home, doing household chores and career at the same time…

Sir Jomar also introduced the trainings that we can take to have that special badge that we could include in our personal websites.

I have enrolled in some of the trainings from him, and I haven’t finish any yet. Why? Probably because I haven’t fully answered those crucial questions before I availed the courses, particularly the second one…

Yes, I’ve got a lot of fears, but I am conquering them all now… still in the process… Actually as of this writing I already finished 2 tutorials – Evernote and Bitly. A work in progress… what’s important is you DO NOT STOP!

And what’s keep me going is the promise I made to myself — that I will be the best version of myself as Virtual Professional soonest!
